Desktop history~

Yep~ since I'm refurnishing my desktop~ i mind as well show you all the end result :-
















Theme : Inuyasha
This is how my desktop looks like before I got attacked by the Melissa Virus last year.
The bar below is a special program called "object dock". It works just like the bar in Mac OS X. Cool right? XD
I liked this cuz it's simple, clean and nice.

















Theme : Midori no Hibi
This is how my comp looks like after I've reformatted my comp (I've been using this all these while for more than a year now). As u can see~ the desktop is quite messy and filled with icons then again I like how the color matches with the background ^^
















Theme : XP-tan
This is my current desktop. Yes it might look wierd at first but I'm using the Vista Black skin and a white winamp skin. I'm experimenting how dark and light colors look together. I have to say~ the XP-tan bg seems to bring out my desktop better with the black toolbar and etc. As for the white winamp skin, it is to blend with the light background. So here you can see of a fusion of light blue and dark black. I'm sticking with this theme til the end of the week.
Btw, as you can see, the desktop is still in a mess with icons. I'm gonna clear em out by the end of this week and replace it with the objectdock as you've seen in the Inuyasha Theme.

Rainy Days : A tribute to Datin Sri Endon

I know this might not be read by our current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi,
I'm sorry for your loss. It must've been a big impact for you. Last year you said to your wife Datin Sri Endon when she was undergoing treatment at the states, "I've lost my mother and I don't want to lose you too.'' .

It must be hard but be strong. The whole nation mourns along with you and supports you no matter what.
The morning was filled with a gloomy atmosphere. It rained from 9am til noon. It was a sad day indeed.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.

As title says~

Another thing... I think i'm down on dengue. I'm having headache, muscle pain and slight fever....
no rashes though... i guess this is what happens when you tease someone who's sick. *cough*cough*

A taste of Inui Juice. Medicine for the Soul. Guilty as can be.

Today is the stress buster day for my club.

We had PS2, Karaoke, Pillow Fight and Fear Factor drinking aka Inui JuiceDrinking.

First of all I went there and played Soul Calibur 2. Haha played average. Lost some, win some. Then later decided to put in Guilty gear~ To my horror i lost to a newbie!!! Oh well~ i used one of my worst chars anywayz (Testament). Then later i started using Chip! Muahahahaha! Owned (not the first player~ other players =p)

Then later was the Fear Factor challenge. There were 6 ppl at first. I managed to make it to the finals. Each of us took turns drinking and making the juice. I guess the worst ingredient was the wasabi. Anywayz, i made it to the finals with a hangover. Finals~ every ingredient in one cup for 2 ppl. First one tht drinks it all and puts the cup on the table wins. I won by a few miliseconds. What did i win? RM 30 to see the doctor. RM 30 for toilet papers...

How should i describe the taste.... First when it enters your mouth~ you start to taste something sour and salty (vinegar, mayonase and salt), then later you start to taste tomatoe/chilli. When I reached the bottom~ a horrible spicy hot sensation kicked in. My eyes started to tear, my throat aches and I almost blacked out. Yeap.... the worst part of the drink; wasabi. Not a little.... I think the wasabi made up 20% of the whole cup (minus the water added to make it harder). Thank goodness i was still concious to slam the cup on the table. I then coughed and drank water.

My cousin then gave me a warm cup of water. I thought it wont suffice so i added some left overs of the strawberry syrup(the syrup and chocolate sauce was banned cuz it made the juice more tastier). As i drank the strawberry juice.... I noticed tht it was salty.... my cousin added salt in to the water =.= (Not her fault~ she was trying to help) And so... because of this, everyone was told tht I drank strawberry salt juice. People might be thinking~ "this guy really fit to be champion. still can drink disgusting stuff" =p

During the whole time, we can hear people singing (karaoke). I didnt sing~ I WONT sing =p
I noticed some passerby covering their ears in disgust LOL.

Later, at the LRT station at bangsar, one of the rubbish bin was on fire (smoke coming out of the hole. nothing big). I called the workers there and guess what they brought. A small pail with water and a cloth to squeeze the water into the bin =.=~ At that time the train arrived and i left the scene =p

Yeap internet sudah kembali... but.....
I've got limits... oh well

Now to catch up after 1 week of absence from the internet =p

My internet is down again.... but why am I sad this time? My parents wont pay the bill.... I'm not sure for how long but I know it wont be soon...

It's been 5 days without broadband.... I need anime ...... I need Dota.... I need to communicate with Rynx.....

Where was I before my internet got cut? Why wasnt there any posts?? I was lazy to post/ nothing interesting to post =p

College at Help~ season 4

Woot my 4th semester at HELP just started. I'm forced to take 5 this semester so here are my 20 hour of class per week plan : - (UPDATED 24/8/05) Somehow it keeps changing cuz of the bad time table schedules.

Monday : 8am~10am, 2pm~4pm, 4pm~6pm
Tuesday : 10am~11.30am, 11.30 am~1pm, 1 pm~2.30pm, 2pm~4 pm
Wednesday : Holeedhey~~
Thursday: 8am~10am, 10am~12pm, 4~6pm
Friday : 10am~11.30 am

Woot~ and there u have it... my paling ganas schedule so far ><
I hope i can last....

HAZE A BIOCHEMICAL WEAPON?!

Special News Report :

Regarding the bad haze experienced by us Malaysians, some of us think that it might be a form of a sabotage. Why? By burning down the trees in their country, they replenishes their soil with nutrients. Though banned they still did so. Could it REALLY be banned? One of our spies got information that someone from the higher ups sent letters to these farmers that their time of reckoning is here. Burn the forests so that the wind will carry these smokes into our neighbouring country.

How can this effect our country? By releasing haze til our air quality is so bad that we can hardly do any out door activities, effects our economy. That is only their secondary objective. Their main one is.... to kill all Malaysians. Yes that's right. The current haze is currently classified as a Class IV biochemical weapon. Not only does it destroy our lungs, health and vision, it increases the heat in our country. They might think this will go unsuspected but they are wrong. We know their plans since last year.

Local scientists have created a device to absorb these hazardous gasses. When they are done with their burning~ we're gonna dump it all back in their country. We dont want their rubbish so we have to return it back to them. The dumping should be done in September 11th 2005.


September 13th 2005, NEWS FLASH.

The recent dumping of the ashes in Indonesia was a disaster. It seems that some idiot from the haze collecting facility has miscounted that when we dump the ashes back into their country, the wind will simply just blow it back to our homeland.... In another news, the sale of masks has increased once again. All masks were imported and mass produced in Indonesia...

Everything's So Blurry

Yep.... the worst haze I've seen since 1996 or was it 1997. You can hardly see what's infront of you. Why? Forest fires going on in nearby countries.....But what can we do? Simple~ breath in the air so that all the dirt stays in your lungs. That way, the air should be cleaner.
So.... everyone let's do our part in keeping our Malaysian air clean again. BREATH!!!

Genting Highlands pt 2 : Dizzy Wizzy

sry for the delay but here's part 2!!!

Before I move on, I have to mention that the toilets there are one of the worst...
Think HUGE windows beside the shower. Then think of a thin white curtain at the window. Yep~ I noticed from other pplz windows as well. When you bath~ ppl from outside can SEE YOU so i use the towels they provided to cover up some areas. At least it was much better than before.

Off to genting we go with our bags. I managed to stuff my huge bag in to the small locker....
Then we went on...

1st ride : Spinner
Chairs on metal chains and goes swirly~~~

2nd ride : Tobbogan
VERY short and fast ride XD

3rd ride : Tea Cup
Spin spin spin. I spun too much til i felt sick... for the whole day ...

4th ride : Mystery Ship??
I was feeling really bad because of the Tea Cup. I thought of going for a boat ride but couldnt. Why? "Tak Cukup air" =.= So i went into this 'ship' that has twist and turns and confusing pathways~

5th Ride : Antic Cars.
Yeap.... It seems that i couldnt recover ><.... had to relax a while so~ Antic cars should be okay if i werent bumping into 3 of my friends infront of us and 2 more behind us bumping into me~ Why kept bumping? We slowed down to enjoy the scenery.....

6th Ride..... : Flying Dragon
We waited and waited. When our turn... it rained. We're not allowed to play. Nvm~ we ate burger king then went back. We were first XD. Yep~ i was still dizzy but the ride wasnt that bad.

7th ride : Corkscrew
Nope~ i didnt ride it =p 4 of my other friends did. I dont think I'm feeling well enough to ride it so I have to pass for now ><.... Remember the girl that was scared? She rode this =p then when she came out~ she said "It was fun". All her fears has gone XD. Before = Chicken, After = Lioness =p

8th Ride : Mini Carts
Yep~ First time. I took the car most back cuz I wanted to overtake them rather than being chased XD. I passed everyone except for 2 cuz I slowed down earlier on. Chingy's car got stuck on a tyre (block). Oh well, it was still good though tht i managed to pass 4 other ppl (according to them). I still think i passed 5 ppl except for one =.=~ oh well...
Interesting fact : During the race, some passerby's were waving at me on a bridge~ I couldnt wave back in time so as i went past them I raised my hand~ Like those movies/ anime XD!!!

9th ride : Matahari "Ferris Wheel"
Yep another ferris wheel but this one seems higher than the other one~~~

10th and final Ride : Flying coaster~~
Ever tried riding a roller coaster while lying down? Well here's your chance. Pay 2 Play. RM10 per ride... As we went on. It felt wierd. As the ride started... the worst thing happened... My spectacles fell off my ears. Luckily I grabbed it in time before it fell on the hard floor ><. I still got to see the ride XD but the experience isnt as good since i wasnt concentrating on the ride ><.

Still, it was great fun ^^ At last... we got our bags and head back home through bus. Bad thing is... the bus to the stop near my house is cancelled... so have to take to KotaRaya =.=....

And~~~ my EXAMS ARE OVER!!! XD!!!!!! I watched "Unleashed" after my exams (ended at 6pm) which started at 6.40 pm =p

Genting Highlands pt 1 : Walking and walking~

Yep went to genting and back~

Day 1 :
Erin picked me up at 7 am and we went off to pick up another friend. We reached Terminal Putra at 8 am. 5 others who werent there yet said that they'll be late so we had to buy a later ticket (9.30 am)

The other 5 reached at 9.05 am. We took some pics beside a bus that we thought is gonna be the one we're riding to genting... but it wasnt... oh well
The bus ride took us 1 hour. Cable car 30 mins. Then... it took us another 15 mins walk to our apartment (RiA apartments). We booked in and went out for food at First World (yep another 15 mins walk to genting again....) for pizza.
After pizza, we head on to the arcade only to find out that the token system has changed into a card system O.o
We wanted to play anywayz so we bought a 10 ringgit card. Thing is.... the machines are asking for credits while the card is in ringgit. How much is ONE credit? Daytona USA tht costs ONE credit ate TWO ringgit off the card =.= Yeah..... expensive ><
Next, we went Rock Climbing. I was almost at the top then I chickened out. Guess my fear of heights stopped me... Then later I watched some of them play pool. (Nope I didnt play dont ask why). After that, we decided to check out the Indoor Theme park for bumper cars. To our dismay, Indoor Theme park is now Arcades only.... only a SMALL section. Bumper cars and Motion Master was moved to First World (yep. we didnt notice cuz it was hidden). Walk back to First World Hotel we did.
When we bought our wristbands, we got coupons. "Free one game of bowling" One game costs RM6. Cant waste it can we? Expiry date, 5pm. Current time, 4.50pm. All of us rushed to the bowling alley. We made it on time. We still had to pay for shoes though. That's when we realised... all the coupons requires us to pay for something... =.= (btw, the bowling game, i tied with erin at 70 O.o!!!!!; and i wasnt the highest scorer)
We got lost a while but we found the bumper cars. Looked at the crowd.... too many so we went one floor down to motion master. Not many ppl. Sat through it (it's about toy car racing in circuits) and was dissapointed because most of the crashes and bumps werent felt.

So~ off to bumper cars. We lined up. While we werent looking... this boy came and cut our line. Nvm~ he's a boy (13 or 14 years old). We let him go first (not enough cars for 7 of us). Next, it was supposed to be our turn but there still werent enuff cars. Guess what? The same boy cut through our line again. Okay... he has pissed me off. Our turn was next. The boy couldnt get in. After our game we lined up again. That time the boy was playing since he was first in line after us. After he left... yep, he CUT the line AGAIN! We went for our 2nd game with the boy. All 7 of us gang banged him. I'm not so sure about the other 6 but I aimed only for the boy. After this game, he CUT AGAIN! This time, everyone was complaining to him shouting "Q-LAH!". He stoped smiling. He sat on the fence he was trying to cut from. Few mins later, he left (MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA =p). We went for our third game then we went for the Ferris Wheel.

After the Ferris Wheel, Rollin' Thunder roller coaster. One person from our group is really scared. She was scared on the cable car as well as the Ferris Wheel. She sat through Rollin' Thunder 3 times with us and said it was fun. Haha! =p After Rolling Thunder, we went to McD's for ice cream and walked back to RiA. It was about 10 pm.

We prepared our so-called steamboat using pots( no steamboat set). When we were almost done, we realised we forgot the most important ingredient, salt. All shops were closed. Only way to get salt is to take some from McDs. It's a long way up... Oh well, it wasnt tasteless anywayz.

We started a game of Monopoly after 'clearing up' the table . At around 3 am we slept.

Pt 2 , 2morrow~

Shock of a lifetime

Yea.... what my mom said to me just now was so shocking i went blur for 1 hour.
She gave me the greenlight to go to genting highlands for one night with my friends even though my exams is next week. This is not like her. I couldnt believe it. At some point i wonder if i drank too much coke... This could be something as confusing as "The butterfly effect" movie. Unexpected... Never expected...... Off guard....

Well.... one of the conditions is tht I study before i go and cover everything ><
So.... study i shall!!

Toilets that look like stables...

Yep, I went to Palace of the Golden Horses last night for a cultural night of an unknown College last night.... for FREE!!! yep~ The most luxurious hotel in Malaysia XD

Najib (the man who forced me to hell (National Service)) was there with his wife, some agongs were there but I dont understand one thing. Where are the securities??? O.o Heck... no one checked if i had a gun/weapon on me =.=
Kk, regardless I have to wear a FORMAL suit. Yep~ Kyo in a formal suit!!! *fan girls screaming* =p

Okay the main reason why i was there is for the (FREE) FOOD!! Btw, this is my 4th time for a formal event, and this is the 4th time they serve chinese food =.= Still the food served is different from what I've eaten so far ^^ it's like a better version of all the food (at formal events) i've ate so far.
On the other hand... i noticed that our table seems to be one of the last tables being served =.=
I was hungry. I only had breakfast and nothing else yesterday. I want food but we are mostly ignored.

Okay now lets talk about toilets!! Kk I dont know about the female toilets but what I can say about the male toilets is tht it looks like stables (the doors) . The water basins... look like water basins (thank goodness it's not the container a horse drinks from).

Next, we have a look at the car park of the most luxurious hotel in Malaysia. RM 10 PER HOUR!? O.O!!!!! I'm feeling grateful this event gave us a chop for RM5 parking flat rate ^^
The carpark.... Looks like an ordinary carpark u can find anywhere (shopping complex car park). I guess there will not be such thing as the 'Most Luxurious Carpark in Malaysia'...

Kk, tht is all. Btw, we have 5 tickets. The attendant never cared to count whether there really are 5 of us.... so if there arent much ppl turning up on our table, we could've snuck in 5 more ppl =p

Movie Marathon~!!

Yep, since Friday I've been going for movies~

Friday went with Erin~ alone~ XD (Mr. & Mrs. Smith)
Sat went with Erin, sis, erin's bro and bunny~ (Batman Begins)
Today went with Erin, cousin, cousin's cousin and sister (Initial D) =p

And i got a shocking call when going for dinner just now~

Mad-Gas-Car

Yep, went to Mid Valley to watch Madagascar, guess what happened =.=

At the center court, there was this event by Dutch Lady to promote Madagascar. The floor was filled with children and.... the announcer told them to scream/ chant for the main character... "Alex" the Lion =.=
So... imagine these kids screaming out my name. Sounds like a those concert where fans chant their idol's name but it was not meant for me ><

Anywayz, Madagascar was quite a good movie IMO. I had some laughs here and there. Storyline, not much actually. They were strecthing alot filling in the plot with (useless?) bits just to make the show longer. It's still interesting though. Go watch it.

And tht reminds me, during the first few mins, they usually show trailers of upcoming movies. Guess what they showed... Horror movie. In front of those little kids~~~ yep imagine how much trouble the parents will have to go trying to brainwash them from their fears =p

O2Jam Gathering

Wheee~ I went to the O2Jam gathering skipping my class =p
Not to worry, I asked my friend to sign my attendance for me. That way, no attendence lost XD

Anywayz, about the gathering. I woke up at 6.30am =.= yea~ and i slept at 2 am... Too excited =p
I went to KL Central and reached at 8.30 am. The bus is supposed to arrive at 9.30 am so I decided to buy a magazine and wait. 10.00 am... No bus... 11.00 am~ bus arrived (Event is from 11am til 6pm) What the heck, I'm going there anyways.

I reached the destination point at around 11.20 am. I started Jamming. Yep, from 11am~6pm I jammed non-stop. I cant belive I jammed that long =.=
Muscle pains and numb fingers~ yep. I've experienced both. But it still was fun ^^
I'm just sad I didnt win the lucky draw T.T 1 year supply of p2p songs

O2Jam Extra Class

okay~ Before I go on with the main topic, here's the layout of my NEW timetable. (I dropped 2 subjects and took 2 new ones)

Mon- 12pm~2pm, 2pm~5pm
Tues- 10am~12pm, 4pm~6pm
Wed- 2pm~4pm
Thus- 4pm~6pm
Fri- 2.30pm~3.30pm

Yea... still have 4 hours gap but it's not monday~ but then again... Monday is 5 hours straight T.T

on with my rantings~ It seems that due to the Wesak Day holiday on monday, my 2 hour class is to be replaced on May 28th. The SAME DAY as the O2Jam Gathering which I was looking forward to since last month.
The gathering starts at 11am~6pm
Extra class, 10am~12pm

So what can I do?? Skip the darn class.... T.T ? or be late and lose out on lots of events and prizes
No doubt I'll be missing some stuff but I should be able to catch up on stuff (hopefully no pop quizzes). O2jam gathering was announced to me first before the extra class.... but I feel so guilty =.=
