So what are we seeing here? TMNET or as many of us call TMNUT, is actually upgrading it's services even though they said it's expensive for an upgrade. Why? IPTV and all those other craps? Who the hell would watch on IPTV?! Even if there ARE people watching it, it'll only be the minority. Speaking of minority, we (P2P bitorrent users) are a minority according to them.

They can do it. They refused to. Something must've got them to do it. They aint telling.

There is also news that currently there is a 2mbps connection which costs RM188 a month. That's like paying x2 RM99 1mbps connection everymonth. Will the new 4 mpbs cost x4RM99? (RM396). Wait before you go saying cheap, calculate the amount u pay them EVERY YEAR. That's right..... over RM1000 (for RM99 package). Now with the new 4mbps you COULD pay RM4000 every year!!

Cursed by the Toilet....

Yeah... today seems to be a cursed day for me...

Because I had insulted the hi-tech toilet in my previous post, I was forced to sit in the toilet the whole day yesterday.... wait~ i woked up this morning at 6am.... just to sit in the toilet because of the same problem. Diary-yeah. (Yea, i forgot how to spell it)

Anywayz~ fast forward... while eating, me and my friends were confronted with a guy asking for donations for "handicapped" children. Wait wait wait~ that's not the problem. The problem was he called me "handsome" and said "he's not gay".... This was just the begining~....

At the LRT station, as i was done using the toilet (to take a pee incase you're asking...), after i was done.... I washed my hands and this guy walked up to me.... "May i know the time?" he asked. I showed him my watch... He then looked at me funny.... "Where do you live?", "What is your name?" .......

From that point onwards.. i know this is bad... He's probably the Micheal Jackson of Malaysia... though he speaks like an Iranian, looks like an Iranian too (no offence to the straight Iranian people).

I kept quiet pretending i dont know english.. he was puzzled and so was I. Then later.. he asked.."Do you wanna have fun?".... OKAY.... WTF are you trying to say??!?!. Before I let him say another word, I walked out of the toilet... As i looked behind, he was pointing at his zipper...
Thank god I wasnt molested.

As i headed for the trainstop upstairs.... something else happened... yea... 2nd time in less than a year.... a rubbish bin was seen giving out smoke. Haihz.... again here I go as a good citizen went to call for help. And again, just when I showed the staff there what happened, the train came just intime for me to board.

So there you have it. The hi-tech toilet cursed me to have "dihorrea"(Is that how you spell it?? =.=), lead me into a toilet with gay molestors AND!!!!! almost got me raped by a MAN!! ...

Haze is back, so am I. New high-tech toilets in city, Goodbye My Friend

Hrmm the haze has been around for more than a month and I've been coughing ever since. I guess the Indons are trying to market their protective masks again (refer to last year's blog about this).
Looks like they're really desperate this time around.

The main thing today I would like to talk about is the new high tech toilets in KL. Here's what it's supposed to do. You insert RM1 worth of coins in the slot and a door opens for you to use the toilet. Okay, RM1.... ever since the RM1 coin was abolished, we rely mostly on 50, 20 and 10 cent coins. How often do we even see these coins nowadays? We see more 5 or 1 sen coins thanks to taxes from our fast food restaurants charging us government taxes / service taxes.

Yes, you've all guessed it, the machine probably does not accept 5 or 1 sen coins. Wait, good news, there will be someone who will be in charge of the unit. I have no idea where this person will be placed at but, I'm sure he'll be handy to help us change all our loose change into something this toilet can accept. I think this might be a bad idea/ hassle.

Let's say someone really, I mean REALLY has to go. He ran towards the door and saw a sign asking him to insert at least RM1 in total of coins. He searched his pocket/ wallet but found no small change. All there is was a RM 1 note. Already stuffing his left hand into his anus to hold it in, he ran around the unit looking for someone to change the RM1 note. 1 minute later, still holding it in, he found a passerby who gave him change enough to use the toilet for free (Yea rite... in Malaysia?!). The man then thanked the passerby and ran back towards the door. As he slowly inserted TEN, 10sen coins, one at a time; just when he inserted the last coin, the door which was supposed to open, did not open. Someone is already inside. The money is not returnable.

Well... good thing that was just a worst case scenario i thought of. Hopefully that doesnt happen to any of us.

These toilets arent called high-tech toilets for no reason. It is said to have a self cleaning mekanism which i have no idea how it works. According to the press, it cleans itself up after every 5 users. What will it do? Spray water everywhere? What if someone got stuck in there? Free shower and dry blow, ALL for the price of RM1. Just make sure you're lucky number 5~

Another reason why they called it high-tech toilets. You are only, yes, ONLY limited to 15 mins of usage of the toilet before the door automatically opens up. Dont worry, the door wont just open when it hits 15 mins. On the 14th minute, there will be a warning saying that the door will be opened in one minute. If you wish to continue using the toilet, you'll have to insert yet another RM1.

Fair enough, there will be a warning. What about those with hearing disabilities? On the 14th minute they hear nothing. Then, on the 15th minute though they cant hear it, there'll be laughter all around. So how will the makers of this high tech toilet will counter this? No news so far. I'm guessing maybe they'll put up a warning light ala DISCO BALL!! "Dance like shit"

Now, what about those on wheel chairs? Yes, the designers are thoughtful about them. The doors are big enough and there are handles and etc available for the disabled. There is also the table where you can change the diaper for babies (forgot the name for it =.=). The toilet is also perfumed.

About the materials of the toilet(judging from the picture), it looks like a typical Malaysian made unit. Everything looks like it's made out of plastic. What if there were smokers in there lighting up cigarette? Smoke fills up the whole room. How will the cleansing mekanism cleans this up? What if the person puts out the cigarrete by pressing it against the plastic walls? How will it clean it up? I'm guessing since it is *coughcough* high tech, the moment smoke is detected (nothing about a smoke detector was mentioned, i'm just saying what if there were), another free shower~

Okay I'm saving the best for last....
What if one were to get stuck in the toilet? That's no problem as there will be someone responsible for the unit right? WRONG! I'm guessing it'll be just like our security guard system. They'll probably be sleeping in their own cozy air-conditioned room without a care in the world. Did i mention that the whole toilet is airconditioned? Anyways, even if you DO, press a button in the toilet asking for assistance, I doubt the person incharged will be able to hear thanks to the blasting of his super high tech hi-fi stereo or earphones while watching the girls in revealing clothes walk past by (for guys) or cute hot guys (for female).
Realizing the help button is of no use, you used your handphone to call for help. But wait, if this is so high tech, they probably wouldnt want users to use their handphones while using the unit. So, what do they do? They installed a material that prevents your handphone to send signals out of the unit and signals into the unit. Even better, you're still stuck even though the 15 mins of usage time is up.
Stranded in there, you started pounding on the door screaming for help. You tried kicking, pushing and punching your way out. Thankfully for you, it's Malaysian made (I think it's Malaysian made....) so the lock pops out open quite easily. Remember because this is a high-tech toilet, it has sensors and an alarm system to see if someone is vandalising or destroying the property. Being caught red handed, you explained to the police on what happened including the part where you pressed the help button non stop. Too bad the person incharge denied your statement. The person incharged no doubt IS telling the truth even though the only thing entering his ears are the music of black metal. There was a short circuit in the wiring thus the help button was actually not working. Best part, this happened on the opening day (not real << it's all made up!!!).

Okay time to wrap it up. Remember a few days ago when an ATM machine was pulled out of a bank using a tow-truck? We should expect the same to our high-tech public toilets. Someone will come soon to steal all those syilings.

I've just gotten word from my sister from one of the teachers from my ex-school, an ex-schoolmate of mine just passed away a few days ago. To those wondering, it's Jagathesan. Yeap, him. Suffering from a weak backbone since he was standard 5, a fan of wrestling and formula 1 racing has passed away. Last I've heard about him, he was in Perth Australia studying bussiness and hoping to take over his father's bussiness. Sorry you were unable to fufil your dreams. Rest in Peace my friend.

The iBomb vs DellBomb

Okay it's finally a long while since i last posted... I have no idea why I'm posting here again. I'm bored? Tired? Depressed? Stressed? Even I have no idea just yet.
Anyway on with my story!

As we all know, there was recent news about terrorists trying to bomb an aircraft heading to US. This then causes airports everywhere in the world to beef up their security to the highest level. Screen checks (I saw a vid of one of these and it basically makes your clothes dissapear thus you see yourself naked with your genitials on the screen unless you put this black card infront/behind the "holes").

We arent able to carry in hand luggages anymore. The worst thing is... they found that people can actually hide explosives in an iPod or use the iPod as a detonator!! Yeap, no more iPods in planes. I actually dont mind this if it'll be something like the movie "Soul Plane" wakakaka~
So there you have it~ iBombs... the next generation iPod.

Now we see Dell Laptops. A few cases of exploding Dell laptop bateries has caused Dell to callback around 14 million units of the batteries. WOW.... that's alot of loss.... Who do we have to thank? SONY!! Yeap the companty that brought us the PSP which is DYING. The company that introduced the UMD for the PSP which is already DEAD. The company that is developing PS3 which many have said to be a failure because of it's price and un-inovative design/ functions. The company that plans to introduce to us a paper based CD known as Blu-Ray discs which is said to LOSE to HD-DVD. The company that produced the first laptop Blu-Ray disc laptop which has no use what-so-ever with lousy specs, low HDspace and a HUGE HUGE HUGE pricetag of RM15k.
In conclusion, Sony just killed itself.

Now if I can even get myself to the US, I'll be sitting in a plane without an iPod cuz people might think it's an iBomb instead; No laptop cuz they fear of batteries exploding; No hand luggages filled with things to do cuz they're scared I might be carrying Snakes on the Plane.

Sheessh!! What is this world coming to... think deep into the future when planes are no longer needed.... we have teleportation devices (which i doubt will ever happen) . Terrorist teleporting suicide bombers into buildings....

Squeeks of the Ipod

Okay~ it's been a while since I've last played bastketball. No doubt when i got myself on the court, i sucked... after a little warm up, I'm back in the game again XD
The sound of the ball bouncing, the speed of the game, the beautiful sound of when the ball enters the hoop and the squeeking sound of our shoes. Ahhhh~~~ it's like crack. A side back though, i couldnt last for another game. My current state was unable to allow me to continue playing. Looks like I gotta build up my stamina.

And~~~~ for my Ipod, I'm happy with it. BUT there is a few pains. First of all the video codec. I have to convert all the vids before i can view it in the ipod which is really a pain; AND, sometimes the Ipod pauses during the video and loses the sound. Well~ i'm figuring out why now (It's somethin to do with the codec). So far I've managed to make one vid work. I'm figuring out for the rest.

Finally ~ i gotta announce that.....

I'VE PASSED RED SIGN HX FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! WITH HALF LIFE!!!!
I'VE PASSED IDENTITY HX FOR THE FIRST TIME AS WELL!!!!!!! without half life =.=

iPod black. Not as black as oil prices goin up

First let me say~ I've FINALLY gotten my BDay pressie XD
an IPOD!!!! WOOT~!!! Currently i'm messin around with it so i cant say much about it yet. Probably my next post I'll start boasting about it XD.

And time for some profanity~

As we've (Malaysians) all know, the oil price has been raised by 30 sen. No doubt the government says that it's the first and last price increase of the year~ I really doubt so.

So what happens when our government increases it?
"We suggest the nation to bear with this and spend wisely" - Someone from the higher ups

Okay~ that's the same thing they said last year when they increased the petrol price. That aside~ they added

"....we suggest usage of public transportations"

Okay~ here's what I see~ less cars in the future~
With less cars there should be less polution no doubt? WRONG~

Let's say this goes on for 5 years~ our KL skies will still be covered in grey smoke. Probably worse (darkish grey). Why?There are no cars~ and the taxi service probably went out of bussiness.

Busses. Apparently thanks to the promotion of public transportations, the whole of KL is jammed with busses in every corner. Bus drivers fighting around like how the taxi drivers we know today.

Not only that~ we know that busses create more pollution than cars~ Thus explains why they air isnt getting any cleaner than it is now~

So~ kudos! We have more busses in the future and in the end~ bus prices will increase and people will have to start using bicycles all over again.

Dead or not? Yes and no

Wow~ it's been a while since I've blogged.
So what actually made me blog this time around?

We one thing (and mainly because) my computer has died on me again. I figure this would be the best time to upgrade it anyways so... wish me luck!

Another thing is to show that I am not dead. Even though I'm being tortured by a new lecturer at college this semester. She practically tortures us (students) for a living. Til we (students) used the preinstalled 'speech' program to make her say "I am Shamala and I torture my students for a living. PEACE" XD

Well, now that's said, what am I gonna do without a comp? Move to my sis's comp =p
No doubt i brought some gadgets along. I added RAM, video card, hard drives and etc.

Naruto has is being distributed in BM by Comics House. The latest vol is vol 28?!?!?! Wait a min! I saw Naruto vol 2 beside it.... Where is 3~27?!?!? I wonder what Comics's House is thinking.


Anime :

OMG lelong time!! I went to a video store today (sells pirated =.=) BUT i saw something suprising.
Anime DVDs for sale at RM 12.90(2 dvd) and RM 29.90 (3 dvd). It is stated to be ORIGINAL. It has english and BM subtitles. I was shocked to the max. If the price like this keeps up, I dont mind buying it from them. THIS IS HELL AFFORDABLE!!!! Compared to the DVDs from Anime Tech. =.=..... RM90 for 3 DVDs. I'm not sure about the quality of these so called Original Cheap DvDs though.
Titles include, Bleach 1~8, Yakitate Japan, GunXSword 1~8, Samurai 7 FULL, Midori no Hibi and etc.

What a night it has been.
I reached 1 Utama at 5 pm, went to arcade til 7 pm, then ate and went back to the arcade and stayed there from 9~10pm.
Wait~ you might ask why was my dinner 2 hours?! I finished dinner in an hour but it took me one hour to find the shop I was looking for (mangas.... =.=).
Around that time, i walked past icelattezzz which somehow walked passed me as well without realizing it was me/her. Then we called each other after.

11.30pm. I decided to walk down to the stage/ dance floor to meet up with some friends which I've met earlier. Crazy people everywhere haha. The MC almost missed the countdown so we had to count from 6-5-4-3-2-1~~~~ Confetti, strings water were sprayed all around. I had a case of bad dandruff tht night =p

Went to eat mamak after that and came home at around 3 am without jam O.o
Took a bath and played dota til 5 am=.=
Oh yea. To the two leavers in that game~ Happy New Year 2006 without Dota for the month of January XD

13 strings of unfortunate events

As I've said~ I'm gonna explain everything but I'm gonna make it very short
#1 - I've just broken up with my girlfriend a week after my Bday
#2 - During tht week My internet was down
#3 - I have exams the next week
#4 - I couldnt concentrate much
#5 - I screwed up my finals (Made so many careless mistakes, forget too many stuff)
#6 - A spent 3 whole weeks (1st week = gf brokeup, 2nd week = exam, 3rd week = extra one week) traumatized.
#7 - I wasnt in Malaysia, went to china for one week only to get a fever+sorethroat by the 4th day
#8 - I'm still sick
#9 - To those tht still remember those rashes i have, It's STILL not cured
#10 - Yesterday marks the day of the Tsunami incident
#11 - Yesterday marks the day I first met Erin since primary 6
#12 - The new year ends in 4 days....
#13 - I still cant stop thinking of Erin thus I shall continue being traumatized.

On the light side (well not for me), I am still alive for those who still wanna kill me because I didnt buy them any souveniers during my China trip cuz everything there is either too expensive/ doesnt make good souvieniers. Think winter accessories/ clothes in 90% of the shops. The places our tour coach stopped is mostly at shops selling tea/ ginseng and dead deers.
I dont suppose you want me to buy you all each a set of deer's penis or maybe a dead dried preserved squirrel like animal or ginseng tea mixed with deer parts.
Another reason is because my tour group hardly have time to shop.

It was my birthday 3 days ago~ (nov. 20th for those who started counting back =p).

I go a pleasant shock from my dear Rynx. As I drove her back, she gave me a nicely decorated photo album of all our memories together ^^ and that's not all! I got a very nice travel chess set XD!! To think that she gave me those at exactly 12 am.

Yep~ since I'm refurnishing my desktop~ i mind as well show you all the end result :-
















Theme : Inuyasha
This is how my desktop looks like before I got attacked by the Melissa Virus last year.
The bar below is a special program called "object dock". It works just like the bar in Mac OS X. Cool right? XD
I liked this cuz it's simple, clean and nice.

















Theme : Midori no Hibi
This is how my comp looks like after I've reformatted my comp (I've been using this all these while for more than a year now). As u can see~ the desktop is quite messy and filled with icons then again I like how the color matches with the background ^^
















Theme : XP-tan
This is my current desktop. Yes it might look wierd at first but I'm using the Vista Black skin and a white winamp skin. I'm experimenting how dark and light colors look together. I have to say~ the XP-tan bg seems to bring out my desktop better with the black toolbar and etc. As for the white winamp skin, it is to blend with the light background. So here you can see of a fusion of light blue and dark black. I'm sticking with this theme til the end of the week.
Btw, as you can see, the desktop is still in a mess with icons. I'm gonna clear em out by the end of this week and replace it with the objectdock as you've seen in the Inuyasha Theme.

Rainy Days : A tribute to Datin Sri Endon

I know this might not be read by our current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi,
I'm sorry for your loss. It must've been a big impact for you. Last year you said to your wife Datin Sri Endon when she was undergoing treatment at the states, "I've lost my mother and I don't want to lose you too.'' .

It must be hard but be strong. The whole nation mourns along with you and supports you no matter what.
The morning was filled with a gloomy atmosphere. It rained from 9am til noon. It was a sad day indeed.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.
